About MemoryBoards
Our sweet Isaac was diagnosed in January ’09 with the fatal birth defect, Anencephaly. I chose to carry Isaac full term, knowing that he would peacefully thrive, while I was pregnant with him. I spent the months following preparing for his arrival and death. We welcomed Isaac into our hearts and family forever on April 8, 2009. He lived 70 minutes, and slipped away peacefully while I held him. I love him, miss him, and ache for him every day. I went on to suffer three miscarriages before having more healthy babies after his death. My heart empathizes and grieves for all you have lost too.

After Isaac’s death, I struggled to find ways to keep his memory alive, and looked for simple, yet meaningful ways to honor his sweet life. At the time, there were not many options that were aesthetically pleasing to me, so I decided to design and make my own home decor pieces with his name lovingly displayed on them. It brought peace to my heart to include him in our day to day lives, gently being reminded of him as I went about my day. Memory Boards was born soon after as I was able to offer similar decor pieces to other grieving mothers. I have been so blessed to have been able to help so many other families honor their babies through our pieces. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your grief journey in this small way. My heart truly grieves and remembers with yours.
